I am delighted to take up the roll of volunteer website manager for Eye Matter, a charity I’ve been impressed with from the day I was introduced to them.
From an early age, I’ve been fascinated by computers, some would say it’s an obsession, but for me, it’s so much more than that.
Over the years there have been many changes in the way we access information and services online, especially for people with a visual impairment. With the evolution of assistive technology, people with sight loss are able to navigate the web with greater ease and efficiency than ever before.
I aim to build upon and improve the current Eye Matter website, collecting the vast amount of information and resources and present it all in a way that makes it accessible for everyone to enjoy.
