Man's Search for Meaning
The author learnt the extremeties of suffering whilst in concentration camps. But he has used his experiences to find ways of healing sickness of mind and spirit. His technique of what he calls 'logotherapy' shows people can be set free from despair and find new courage to face circumstances which seem beyond them. He bases his therapy on man's striving for a higher and ultimate meaning to his existence.
