The RNIB wants to know whether you have experienced inaccessible health information over the last year?
They are looking for people who would be willing to share their experiences to support a new campaign.
This summer, on 1 August the RNIB will mark the 10 year anniversary of the NHS England Accessible Information Standard, which makes clear how NHS services need to provide accessible information to people with communication needs, including blind and partially sighted people. They said, “Unfortunately we know that inaccessible health information is still common, and that much more work is needed to ensure that blind and partially sighted people’s right to accessible health information becomes a reality. 10 years and counting is far too long to wait!”
Please get in touch at campaigns@rnib.org.uk if you would like to take part.
