I attended ABBA Voyage with Eye Matter on Thurs 5 Mar 2026. This is a concert which combines digital versions of ABBA, backed by live musicians. I’ve wanted to go because my family and I have enjoyed ABBA’s music for many years, but I haven’t had the opportunity until now. Being totally blind and because the show had no audio description, it could have been difficult to follow. Thanks to my Eye Matter Sighted Guide Mike, I had a good spoken overview of the on-screen and live content, whilst still appreciating the music. Thanks to Eye Matter for arranging another great event for members like me to enjoy accessibly.
Thank you for organising another successful Eye Matter event last Thursday… In other words, “Thank you for the music, the songs we are singing!” We definitely had a good sing along. Please pass on my warmest thanks to Margaret my sighted guide who kindly ensured that I got a taxi back to my hotel.
